Ellis Carter, our lottery winner turned cabbie, embodies the unexpected paths that lead people to this profession. Mick Ford, with his short fuse and family commitments, represents the everyday struggles of balancing work and home life.

Location Scouting

Southend-on-Sea provides the perfect backdrop for our story. Its mix of seaside charm and urban grit creates an environment where anything can happen. We've spent countless hours exploring the area, identifying iconic locations that will feature in the show.

Building the World

The fictional SOS Cabs office has been designed to feel lived-in and authentic, with every detail considered. From the dispatch system to the drivers' break room, we've created spaces that support our stories while feeling true to life.
